Deer fawns begin to arrive at Wild ARC in late spring, often orphaned as the result of their mum being hit by a car, or injured by off-leash dogs. However, fawns are also regularly left on their own while mum is out foraging, and sometimes these healthy babies are mistakenly brought in to the centre by concerned citizens. In these cases, Wild ARC rehabilitators help reunite babies with their mum, making sure that the fawns who remain in care at the centre are truly in need of help. Your gift provides one week of care and rehabilitation for an orphaned fawn.
